		<description>The default Intel PROSet Wireless software that came with my laptop, and indeed, the software that came with my Belkin wireless card for my PC both scan for available networks, and when you connect to one, it asks if you want to set up a &quot;Profile&quot;, which basically just saves your settings. You then can order the profiles as you wish, and it&#039;ll connect to the first one that it can.

I dunno if that&#039;s what you were talking about - or were you referring to connections using different types: ie Wireless, USB Modem, Wired LAN, etc. If so, I have no advice for you. Good day, sir!
